To help us with our internal operations we are looking for a full-time IT Operations Engineer to help manage day to day IT operations and infrastructure as well as strategically work to improve and standardize our technical and operational procedures to facilitate an efficient work environment. 

In this role you will be responsible for configuring and maintaining our internal network architecture, user support, research new technology, server management, physical and cyber security, and management of standards, certifications, and regulations required to allow Fleet to operate efficiently and securely.



  • Manage the day to day operations of all internal IT and infrastructure

  • Maintain and update servers and networks

  • Incident management and reporting

  • User account management

  • Technical training and onboarding of new employees

  • Assist with technical solutions for site security

  • Work with suppliers to negotiate solutions in line with company and budget requirements

  • Assist with cyber security procedures and compliance as well as leading our ISO 27001 certification

  • Create a standard operating environment

  • Ensure the organisation is set up for a modern, secure,  and efficient work environment

  • Research and implement new technology for both user and facility

  • Budget responsibility for internal hardware and software


  • Strong understanding of IT infrastructure and networks

  • Good grasp of latest technologies and developments that can help facilitate an efficient workplace

  • Experience with security and configuration of network equipment

  • Experience managing security - virus software maintenance and updates

  • Familiarity with Linux server administration

  • Experience with desktop/laptop support

  • Experience with google workspace administration

  • Experience with Gitlab (user management and repository management)

  • Conscientious and respectful nature with great communication skills

  • Familiarity with AWS security & infrastructure (advantageous)


  • 5 years of relevant work experience

  • Relevant certifications and/or a degree in IT is advantageous but not a requirement
