That means giving you the flexibility you need, providing spaces that will keep you comfortable and finding opportunities for you to keep learning and growing.

About The Role

We're looking for a Software Engineer to join our Technology team to work on mission-critical systems for Marketing, Customer Service and Compliance functions which will increase our customer service efficiency and improve the customer experience. You will develop and integrate applications across all our brands and services with a wide variety of partner systems. We focus on working collaboratively, delighting our customers and challenging ourselves and with our continued growth comes plenty of opportunities for you to learn and grow. We'll support you with training budgets, mentorship from some exceptional senior developers and the ability to step up and do more.

In terms of our tech stack, all of our products are hosted on AWS (mostly ECS, some EKS). On the containers, we use Java and Node servers. On the client-side, it's React and TypeScript. Whilst experience with those technologies would be great, we're looking for strong problem-solving skills and the technical aptitude to pick up new concepts quickly, so don't worry if you've been working with something slightly different!

About You

We're looking for someone with a real passion for their craft. Ideally, you'll have worked in collaborative technical teams before and be comfortable learning independently. You'll be able to integrate web API applications with the ability to organise, connect and synchronise data.

If you've got experience with or interest in the following, we'd love to hear from you:

  • Experience integrating disparate systems using web based API’s (RESTful is preferred)
  • Experience developing web based API’s
  • Cloud development (particularly AWS)
  • Containerisation (Docker and/or Kubernetes would be great)
  • OO and Functional programming paradigms
  • Performance tuning
